Beech fountain pen
Handmade wooden fountain pen handmade in double Dyed and stabilised Beech from Saltram House Plymouth. The pen features Gun metal coloured fittings which perfectly contrast against the wood. The wood is dyed with Green and Red to highlight some of the natural features or the grain in the wood.
This is a beautiful handmade pen, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
Features a medium high quality size 5 Bock made nib and ink feed. The pen is approximately 135mm long and 15mm at the widest part including the cap. The pen is postable, the cap can be fixed to the end of the pen.
The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges (two are included), or use the quality refillable ink reservoir included. It will be shipped in a recyclable black card presentation box as pictured.
Also included will be a small certificate giving details of the wood.
The wood featured in this pen is Beech from a tree that grew at Saltram House in Plymouth.

All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
