Ballpoint pen handmade in Cork Oak wood from Killerton finished with black titanium coloured fittings.
This is a beautiful quality handmade ballpoint pen. As the wood is very spalted I have had to stabilized it with resin under vacuum to ensure it does not break down over time. This provides strength to the wood and ensures a long life without detracting from the amazing character nature provided. Please note each pen will be different as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.
The pen features a standard Cross® style C1 refill and is approximately 132mm long and 10mm at the widest part of the wood.
The pen will be shipped in the case as pictured. Along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
