Westminster Palace Oak

Fountain pen handmade in Oak taken from Westminster Palace. Finished with Titanium Gold fittings complemented by a brushed gold centre band.

This is a beautiful quality handmade fountain pen.
Featuring a quality medium German size 5 nib and is approximately 130mm long and 15mm at the widest part including the cap. The pen is not postable.

Different nibs can be fitted to the pen these are as standard size 5 nib and can be found with the picture link below;

The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges. Each pen will vary slightly, as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.

The oak used to make this pen date back to the period 1860 to 1870 when installed to the Palace of Westminster, this dates back to the rebuild of the same period. Recently removed during the latest renovation works and updates.

The Westminster Palace serves as the meeting place for both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom are informally known as the Houses of Parliament, the original palace was destroyed by a huge fire in 1834.

The pen will be shipped in the case as pictured. Along with a certificate of authenticity giving details of the Westminster Palace Oak wood, an ink cartridges to get you started and also an ink convertor so you are able to make use of bottled ink.

All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
