Dartmoor Ash
Fountain pen handmade in Dartmoor Ash. This is a beautiful handmade quality fountain pen. The comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The pen is made from Dartmoor Ash. Completed with Gun metal coloured fittings. Each pen will vary slightly, as no two pieces of wood are quite the same. The remaining Ash does not have the same amount of ripple look in the wood.
Features a medium nib and is approximately 130mm long and 16mm at the widest part including the cap, which is postable.
The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges (one is included), or a refillable ink reservoir also included. It will be shipped in a fully recyclable presentation box as pictured. Also included will be a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
