Railway gift - GWR Carriage Oak cufflinks
Cufflinks handmade in Oak from a floor support removed during restoration of Auto-trailer GWR No 169.
GWR 169 was one of twelve new Auto-Trailers ordered by Great Western Railway in 1928 (Lot 1394 to Diagram A27). 169 was delivered in 1929, it spent a lot of its working life around the Cardiff valleys.
The pair of Cufflinks are finished Rhodium plating and will make a railway gift for any rail fan.
The cufflinks will be shipped in the case as pictured. Along with a certificate of authenticity giving details of the wood.
All items are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The wood is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality components for long lasting performance.
