Week commencing 1st Dec any order placed after Monday 1st will not be dispatched until W/C 8th as we are at events all week. Any orders with engraving may take an extra 48 hours to dispatch. This pen is handmade with Black Walnut wood removed from Capel Salem during restoration work. This pen features Gunmetal/Gold coloured fittings.
Capel Salem is a Grade II listed former chapel, built in 1862 to a design by Thomas Thomas. The Chapel is undergoing a major renovation and transformation into a home, studio and community space. The progress can be followed on the well loved TV series.
The pen is equipped with a quality black Parker® type refill. It will be shipped in the recyclable card case pictured along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
