This is a quality handmade wooden fountain pen dressed in Bethlehem Olive wood with Gold coloured fittings.
The comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood. 
Featuring a standard size 5 medium nib, the pen measures approximately 135mm long and 15mm at the widest part. The pen is postable to allow the cap to be mounted on the end while in use. The wood in the pen is unique so the pen you see is the pen you will receive.

The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges (one included), or a refillable ink convertor also included. It will be shipped in the environmentally friendly card presentation case as pictured. A small gift card will be sent with the item giving details of the olive wood.

The Olive tree is slow growing and can live for many years. At the age of around 200 years new shoots develop at the base of the trunk and eventually grow into a new tree, hence the olive tree is known as the "immortal tree".

These rare olive wood blanks are produced from the trimmings of the olive trees in the Holy Land. An essential process for a healthier growth for the trees. No Tree is damaged or destroyed in the process of harvesting this wood.

All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
