Saltram House pen
Quality handmade wooden ballpoint click pen handmade in Tulip wood from Saltram House Plymouth. The pen features Gold coloured fittings with a very satisfying click action.
This is a beautiful handmade quality pen, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The wood featured in this pen is Tulip wood from a tree that grew at Saltram House in Plymouth. Each pen will vary slightly from the one shown as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.
The pen accepts standard Parker type refills which are widely available in a number of ink types. It will be shipped in the case pictured, along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
