1957 Bedford RL Truck Fountain pen
Quality handmade wooden fountain pen handmade wood removed from a 1957 Ex-Army Bedford RL truck rear bench seats during work to convert the truck into an overland camper. The pen Features Gunmetal coloured fittings.
This is a beautiful handmade quality pen, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The pen is supplied with the Schmidt Fine nib pictured, it accepts standard international ink cartridges which are widely available. Also included is an ink convertor to allow the use of bottled inks. It will be shipped in the black card case pictured, along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
