Scotch Whisky Cask Oak Fountain Pen
Fountain pen handmade Oak taken from an old Scotch whisky barrel. The pen features chrome coloured fittings which perfectly compliment the wood and the cap attaches to the pen magnetically. It is postable.
The Whisky cask pen accepts standard International type refills which are widely available. A cartridge is included as is an ink convertor to allow the use of bottled fountain pen inks.
It will be shipped in the case pictured, along with a small gift certificate giving details of the wood.
This is a beautiful handmade quality pen, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with Whisky cask staves. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
