Dartmoor Yew pencil

High quality wooden mechanical pencil, handmade in Yew from Dartmoor, Devon. The comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.

The pencil features Titanium Gold coated fittings with a brushed gold centre band. The top clip end of the pen is twisted to advance the leads, twist and hold to push the leads back in when finished. The pencil making use of 0.5mm leads giving you a fine line. Weighing in at around 45 grams the pencil has a great feel.

The pencil will be shipped in the recyclable card case as pictured. Along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.

All pencils are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
