Ford Model t wheel spokes
This unique set features vintage Ford Model T wheel spokes, used to craft classic writing instruments. The set is presented in an engraved Maple box as shown.
Quality handmade wooden ballpoint twist pen and pencil set in Hickory wood that was removed from the wheels of a 1924 Ford model t runabout during rebuilding of the wheels. The pen and pencil are both finished with the complemented by Gun metal coloured fittings.
This is a beautiful handmade quality set, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The pen accepts standard Parker type refills which are widely available. It includes a high quality refill with black ink. The pencil uses standard 0.7mm leads. It will be shipped in the box pictured, along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
