Tulip wood fountain pen
Fountain pen handmade in Green Tulip wood from Saltram House in Plymouth..
This is a beautiful handmade quality fountain pen. The comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The pen is made from Tulip wood with Chrome coloured fittings. Each pen will vary as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.
Features a medium nib and is approximately 135mm long and 15mm at the widest part including the cap. The pen is postable, the cap can be fixed to the end of the pen.
The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges (two are included), or a refillable ink reservoir also included. It will be shipped in a recyclable black card presentation box as pictured.
Also included will be a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
