Saltram House Pitch pine fountain pen
Fountain pen handmade in Pitch Pine wood from Saltram House in Plymouth..
This is a beautiful handmade quality fountain pen. The comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The pen is made from Pitch Pine wood with chrome coloured fittings. Each pen will vary as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.
Features a medium nib and is approximately 135mm long and 15mm at the widest part including the cap. The pen is postable, to allow the cap to be mounted on the end while in use.
The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges (one is included), or a refillable ink reservoir also included. It will be shipped in the recyclable black card box pictured.
Also included will be a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
